Just wanted to take a moment to cheer on the Cavs...they took game 5 from Detroit last night IN Detroit...which means it all comes back to the Q this Friday night for a chance of Cleveland ending the series. Either way, I'm a Witness.

I took my mother to the Monday night game for mother's day and we had a great time. Happy Mother's Day, MOM!

One last thing to look foreward to....there is a BIG party coming up near the end of July...and I'll be on the main stage. Keep checking back for more details!

Hey everyone! It's been a while, and if anyone reads these, my Spring resolution is to keep up on them. So here goes....

No new mixes...right now at least. I'm really trying to work on some music making. I've spent some money and time working on the studio, and things are coming together quite nicely. Pics to come soon. (I need to clean it up for the photo first!)

Along with buying a copy of Ableton Live, I've purchaced what I think is a decent mic and preamp. Studio Projects C1 and VTB1. Nothing outstanding, but pretty good for the price and for what I'm working on...which is mainly breaks, maybe some D&B, and the occassional Hip-Hop track.

I've also constructed my own bass traps for the room...mainly out of Owen's Corning 703 rigid fiberglass and wooden frames. This has helped out a TON with the studio's acoustics.

I have however, finished my first breaks track with my newer studio setup, it's located here:

Like my new mic and preamp, it's nothing great...but I'm proud of it. I finished it and learned a lot. More to come!

The only big news right now is that I'm now a Corellian Smuggler. Not that 99% of you will CARE...but it's a online clan for Star Wars BattleFront. Even though I never had a PS2 until last Christmas, I still only have 3 games, SWBF, GTA San Andreas, and Parappa the Rappa. Needless to say, I play SWBF all the time online and am now a proud CS member.

So I finally got the guts to actually ride my bike into work last night. I wasn't too bad, actually. ~9 miles, took me roughtly 47 minutes. Unfortunately, It's raining right now and I get off work in about an hour. Good thing I brought a jacket!!

I'm throwing around putting together a new mix. Particularly to get it out before the Icey show here in Cleveland in November. I have 3 ideas right now: 1.) Put out an "internet-only" mix that I wouldn't give out as CDs; 2.) Put out another "o2" mix like I did near the end of 2003; 3.) Do a full fledged project/concept mixed CD where it'd be like an actual radio show. Haven't decided yet. Who knows...maybe I should forget a new mix right now and keep working on my own music. (and for that matter, stop wasting time on those fun mash-ups!) What do you think?

Also, last but not least...I've been playing more Star Wars BattleFront...and applied to join a clan...the Corellian Smugglers. More on that later.

This afternoon my brother and I finally got our brand new custom sliding patio door installed by none other then Mikey at Regency Windows. Pictures to come. (I need to plant a few more shrubs before the winter now...)

Just found out that I'll be heading to Chicago for 4 days in October for work-related training. Can't wait to spend a few days in Chi-Town...free meals...free hotel and flight...and I'll definitely be visiting Sal & Carvao's. Can't WAIT.
